Norma Thomson grew up in Guatemala where it was normal to re-use and recycle everything you could. She has always promoted green initiatives for a healthy environment. In 2011, Greenrock named her as the Green Champion of the year for greening the Bacardi headquarters where she worked. In March of this year, Norma opened Nonna's kitchen on Bermudiana Road.

Greenrock is pleased to announce The 3rd Annual Green Workplace Awards
A 'green' office is cheaper to run, healthier for employees, more resilient in the face of changing costs and better for the planet. To recognize companies who do an outstanding job of 'greening' their operations, Greenrock, in partnership with The Bottom Line Magazine, is launching the Third Annual Green Workplace Awards. Registration is accepted online until October 15th; final submissions are due December 7th.

Chicken of the sea was the brand made famous by an unaware celebrity who confused tuna with (swimming) poultry. Thankfully, the disconnect between the spoils of the ocean and consumers is not nearly as great in Bermuda. Nick Clegg to unveil new 5p cost of bags in supermarkets and large stores to cut use of environmentally damaging products.
Shoppers will have to pay a 5p charge on every plastic bag they use in plans to be announced by Nick Clegg.
The deputy prime minister will unveil the move next week during the Liberal Democrat conference in Glasgow.
