In May, Premier Craig Cannonier resigned in the wake of JetGate, which triggered a Cabinet shuffle. The new Premier, Michael Dunkley, replaced Mr Trveor Moniz with One Bermuda Alliance backbencher Jeanne Atherden as the Minister of Health and the Environment, and added Seniors to the Ministry portfolio. This is the third time the Minister responsible for Environment has changed within the last two years.
An updated chart is now available reflecting the revised Cabinet line-up and Government Organizational Structure.
The ministeries and ministers primarily responsible for the various aspects of sustainable development are now;
Minister of Health, Seniors and Environment The Hon. Jeanne Atherden, JP, MP |
Minister of Public Works The Hon. Patricia Gordon-Pamplin |
Minister of Education and Economic Development Dr. The Hon. Grant Gibbons |

The Department of Conservation Services has been moved from Ministry of Public Works to the Ministry of Health, Seniors and Environment.
